Anton Walbrook, who featured in many P&P films, was a great and duly famous actor in his era.
However, there is much less known about his life than his work. What we have found are mostly basic facts culled from places like Wikipedia, and other sources (see the Biography page). But if you know anything interesting about Anton please tell us.

Silly Stuff
The friend (hello Richard) that introduced me to Anton did so in two ways.
1) He made me watch "...Colonel Blimp". I hadn't done so before. I was delighted.
2) He then ended up impersonating AW. Not exactly pure reverence, but a form of worship I feel. If you don't, this is not the page for you.
If, however, you have imagined how Anton would say "I can't believe it's not butter", then we shall get along just dandy. This page is for miscellaneous Anton-related nonsense.
People who could play Anton
As far as I can tell, there's only one. Tell me otherwise. I think Kevin Kline could've played him well, some years ago - but not now.
Julian Barrett is one half of the Mighty Boosh and I think he looks the part, just about.

will be his agent we unsubtly harrass with promises of fame and custom-made
Melton Mowbray chicken pies.
